Tracking competitors from a WooCommerce store
WooCommerce stores often grow out of a WordPress site, and pricing tends to stay manual: someone checks a few competitor pages and edits prices in the admin. That works for twenty products, not for two thousand.
A WooCommerce price tracker should take your product list, check competitor pages on a schedule, and show the gaps that need attention. In Luska you bring the list in with WooCommerce's own product CSV export; the tracking, price grid and recommendations work today.
Luska does not connect to WooCommerce directly yet. Direct catalogue sync and price push are coming soon; until then you update approved prices in WooCommerce yourself, or export them from Luska as CSV and re-import that file into WooCommerce.
How Luska does it
- 1
Export and import your products
In WP Admin, go to Products and use Export to download a CSV. Import that file in Luska and map the columns. Re-import when your range changes.
- 2
Add competitor URLs
For each product, paste the matching product page at each competitor. Any public page works.
- 3
Daily checks
Price and stock are read every day. Readings outside 0.5–2× the median are flagged; comparison sites are reference only.
- 4
Grid and alerts
The price grid shows each product against each competitor with a price index, gap to cheapest and margin. Undercut alerts fire when a rival drops below you by your chosen percentage.
- 5
Approve and apply
On Professional, review suggested prices in the approval queue, then update them in WooCommerce by hand or export the approved list as CSV for a WooCommerce product import.

What to expect with WooCommerce today
Products come in by CSV
There is no live connection to your store yet. Export products from WooCommerce as CSV and import the file in Luska; repeat the import when you add or remove products.
Sync and price push are coming
Until direct sync and write-back ship, approved prices are updated in WooCommerce by hand or through a CSV re-import. For small daily batches this takes minutes.
Everything else is the same
Monitoring, alerts, the price grid, recommendations, guardrails and the before/after check work exactly as they do for any other store.
Plan for cost data
Recommendations and margin figures need cost prices. Add them in Luska or include them in your import.
