Why track competitors at product level
Category averages hide the products that matter. A shop can be competitive on average and still be the most expensive option on its ten best sellers, which is where shoppers compare and where most revenue is lost.
Competitor price tracking means pairing each of your products with the same product on rival sites, checking those pages regularly, and keeping the history. Over time that history shows who leads price moves, who follows, and who runs promotions on a pattern.
Luska keeps this at product level throughout: you decide which competitor URL belongs to which product, and every figure in the grid is traceable to a reading.
How Luska does it
- 1
Pair products with competitor pages
For each product, add the URL of the same item at each competitor. Import products from CSV or Shopify first to save typing.
- 2
Luska reads each page daily
Price and stock status are recorded on every check. Out-of-stock competitors are marked, and implausible readings (outside 0.5–2× the median) are flagged rather than trusted.
- 3
Compare in one grid
The price grid shows every product against every competitor store, a price index where 100 is the median of live competitors, the gap to the cheapest, and your margin.
- 4
Follow the moves
A competitor price-move feed lists what changed and when, and AI agents watch for patterns such as promotions, stockouts and price wars.
- 5
Act on it
On Professional, Luska turns the data into a suggested price per product with a one-line reason and a confidence score, which you approve, adjust or skip.
Who it's for
Retailers with a known competitor set
You already know the five or ten shops you lose sales to and want to watch them closely.
Category and pricing managers
People who need to explain a price position to a buyer or a manager, with the readings to back it up.
Multi-market sellers
Track competitors in different countries side by side; Luska handles SEK, EUR, NOK, DKK, GBP, USD and more.
Getting competitor tracking right
Start with your best sellers
Track the products that drive most revenue first, against the three to five competitors you lose sales to. Extend coverage once the core is reliable.
Match like for like
Pair identical products — same model, size and pack. A near-match skews the median and the price index for that product.
Watch stock, not only price
A competitor that is cheaper but out of stock is not taking your sales. Luska records stock on every check and leaves out-of-stock offers out of the index.
Review the history
After a few weeks, the price-move feed shows who moves first and how often. That tells you which competitors to follow closely and which to ignore.
What it costs

Frequently asked questions
How many competitors can I track per product?
Three on Starter, 20 on Professional, 50 on Business, and unlimited on Enterprise.
Does Luska find competitors for me?
You add the competitor URLs, which keeps the comparison exact. Matching the same product across shops is the part that most affects data quality, so Luska leaves that choice with you.
How is the price index calculated?
100 equals the median price of competitors that are live and in stock for that product. An index of 110 means you are 10% above the median.
Can I export the data?
Yes. The price grid exports to CSV on every plan, and Business adds the REST API.
