Price monitoring software for e-commerce
Luska checks your competitors' product pages every day, lines their prices up against yours, and tells you where you are out of step with the market — and, on Professional, what to do about it.

What price monitoring software does
Price monitoring software visits competitor product pages on a schedule, reads the price and stock status, and stores the result so you can compare it with your own price over time. Done by hand, this is a spreadsheet someone updates on Monday mornings and that is out of date by Wednesday.
The hard part is not collecting prices; it is trusting them. Pages change layout, products go out of stock, a variant shows the wrong price, and a comparison site lists a marketplace seller you never meant to track. A useful tool has to catch those errors before they reach a pricing decision.
Luska is built for online retailers and brands that sell direct. It monitors the competitor URLs you choose, flags readings that look wrong, and shows the result as a price grid you can act on.
How Luska does it
- 1
Add your products
Import your catalogue from CSV, or sync it from Shopify. Cost prices are optional but needed for margin figures and recommendations.
- 2
Add competitor URLs
Paste the product page URL for each competitor you want to track. Any public product page works; price-comparison sites such as PriceRunner, Prisjakt, idealo and Google Shopping are kept as reference only.
- 3
Daily checks with sanity rules
Luska checks every URL daily, records out-of-stock pages, and flags any reading outside 0.5–2× the product's median as implausible so it does not skew the market picture.
- 4
Read the price grid
Every product against every competitor store, with a price index (100 = median of live competitors), the gap to the cheapest offer and your margin. Export it to CSV at any time.
- 5
Get told when it matters
Undercut alerts fire when a competitor goes a set percentage below you, a feed lists competitor price moves, and a weekly summary email recaps the changes.
Who it's for
Online retailers with overlapping catalogues
Electronics, home, sports, beauty and other categories where shoppers compare the same product across shops.
Brands selling direct alongside resellers
See what resellers charge for your products and, on Professional, check them against a MAP you set.
Teams replacing a spreadsheet
If someone on the team spends hours each week copying competitor prices, the grid and alerts replace that work.
What to look for in price monitoring software
Data quality controls
Ask how the tool handles a wrong reading. Without outlier checks and stock detection, one broken page can make you look 40% overpriced and trigger a bad decision.
Your choice of competitors
Automatic matching saves time but can pair the wrong products. Tools that let you set the exact URL per product give you a comparison you can defend.
A position measure, not just a list
A price index against the market median tells you where you stand in one number. A raw table of prices leaves the analysis to you.
A path to action
Monitoring only pays off when prices change. Check whether the tool can suggest a price, and how approved prices get back into your store.
What it costs
Starter is €149 a month for up to 100 products with three competitors each: daily price and stock monitoring, alerts and digests, the pricing calendar and CSV export. It does not include recommendations.
Professional is €449 a month for up to 1,000 products with 20 competitors each, and adds AI price recommendations, margin guardrails, opt-in autopilot, price elasticity from your own sales data and Shopify price push. Business is €1,290 a month for up to 5,000 products with 50 competitors each and adds the REST API. Enterprise is priced on request.
Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial of Professional. No card is needed, and nothing is charged when the trial ends.
For monitoring alone, Starter is usually enough for a first catalogue. Move to Professional when you want suggested prices or more than three competitors per product.
Frequently asked questions
How often does Luska check competitor prices?
Daily. Each check records the price and whether the product is in stock, and the price history is kept for 14 days on Starter, 60 on Professional and 180 on Business.
Can Luska monitor any website?
It can read most public product pages. You add the URL; Luska extracts the price. Price-comparison sites are kept as reference only, because their listings mix sellers and can mislead the median.
What happens when a scraped price is wrong?
Readings outside 0.5–2× the product's median are flagged as implausible and left out of the market picture, so one bad reading does not trigger an alert or a recommendation.
Which currencies are supported?
SEK, EUR, NOK, DKK, GBP, USD and others, so competitors in neighbouring markets can sit in the same grid.
Do I need to install anything on my store?
No. CSV import works with any platform, including WooCommerce. Shopify catalogue sync is optional, and Shopify price push is available on Professional and above.
