Price monitoring that closes the loop with Shopify
Shopify gives you the store, not the market. To know whether your prices are right, you need to see what other shops charge for the same products — and then change your prices without exporting and re-importing spreadsheets.
A Shopify price monitoring setup has three parts: a catalogue that stays in sync with the store, daily competitor readings for each product, and a way to write a new price back. Many tools do the first two and leave the third to you.
Luska does all three on Professional and above. On Starter you can monitor a Shopify catalogue imported by CSV.
How Luska does it
- 1
Connect your store
Connect Shopify from Luska's integrations settings. Your products sync in; you add cost prices if Shopify does not hold them.
- 2
Add competitor URLs per product
Paste the product page URL at each competitor. Luska checks them daily and records price and stock status.
- 3
See the price grid
Every product against every competitor, with a price index (100 = market median), gap to the cheapest and margin.
- 4
Review recommendations
Each product gets a suggested price with a one-line reason and a confidence score. Approve, adjust or skip; bulk-approve the ones you agree with; use keyboard shortcuts to move fast.
- 5
Push to Shopify
Approved prices are written back to your Shopify store. You can require a second approver for changes above a threshold.
Who it's for
Shopify stores with direct competitors
If shoppers can buy the same product elsewhere, you need to know where you stand.
Teams who want control
Nothing changes in your store until you approve it — unless you choose to switch on autopilot, which stays inside your rules.
Stores with up to thousands of SKUs
1,000 products on Professional, 5,000 on Business, unlimited on Enterprise.
Things to check before connecting a Shopify pricing app
What it can write to your store
Check whether the app only reads products or can also change prices, and whether every change needs your approval first. In Luska, prices change only when you approve them or switch on autopilot.
Where cost prices come from
Margin guardrails need cost data. If Shopify does not hold your costs, plan to add them in Luska or by CSV.
How it limits changes
Look for limits on how far and how fast prices move. Luska keeps recommendations above an 8% margin and within 15% per step.
How you will judge it
Decide up front how you will measure success. Luska's before/after check on each approved change gives you a starting point.
What it costs
Starter is €149 a month for up to 100 products with three competitors each: daily price and stock monitoring, alerts and digests, the pricing calendar and CSV export. It does not include recommendations.
Professional is €449 a month for up to 1,000 products with 20 competitors each, and adds AI price recommendations, margin guardrails, opt-in autopilot, price elasticity from your own sales data and Shopify price push. Business is €1,290 a month for up to 5,000 products with 50 competitors each and adds the REST API. Enterprise is priced on request.
Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial of Professional. No card is needed, and nothing is charged when the trial ends.
Shopify catalogue sync and price push start on Professional. Starter works with a CSV export from Shopify if you only need monitoring.
Frequently asked questions
Does Luska change my Shopify prices automatically?
Only if you tell it to. By default every recommendation waits in an approval queue. Autopilot is opt-in on Professional and above and stays inside your rules.
Which plan do I need for Shopify?
Professional (€449/mo) or above for catalogue sync and price push. The 14-day trial runs on Professional, so you can connect your store during the trial.
What stops a bad price going live?
Recommendations never go below an 8% minimum margin or a MAP you have set, and never move more than 15% in one step. You can also require an extra approver for larger changes.
Can I see whether a price change worked?
Yes. With sales data available, Luska compares the 7 days before and after each approved change.
Does it work with currencies other than the store's?
Luska supports multiple currencies, including SEK, EUR, NOK, DKK, GBP and USD, for products and competitors.
