What's broken with how restaurants price today
Menu prices that lag behind food costs
When food costs rise, menu prices often stay put. With a cost entered for each dish, Luska shows each item's margin and will not recommend a price below an 8% margin over cost.
Not knowing what nearby competitors charge
Checking competitors' menus by hand is slow and rarely written down. Luska reads the prices on the pages you track and keeps a dated history.
What Luska does for restaurants
Competitor menu price tracking
Add a competitor's online menu or ordering page for a dish and Luska reads the price on a schedule. It works where the price is shown on a public web page.
Recommendations from your costs
Enter cost per dish by CSV or by hand. On Professional, Luska recommends prices with reasons, keeping at least an 8% margin over cost.
Price history and export
Every competitor reading is kept with its time and source page, and the price grid can be exported as CSV.
How it works in practice
You add dishes with their cost, link the competitor pages to compare against, and review the price history and recommendations. Menu changes are then made in your own POS.
Frequently asked questions
Does it account for delivery platform commissions?
No. Luska does not model delivery platform commissions or set channel-specific prices.
Does it integrate with my POS?
No. There is no POS connection; import dishes and costs from a CSV.
Is Luska a menu-engineering tool?
No. It does not classify dishes by popularity and profitability or read your sales by daypart. It tracks competitor prices and recommends prices from them and your costs.
